This study aims to describe the parenting patterns of career women and their contribution to children’s educational success within Muslim families in Tarokan District, Kediri Regency. The research is motivated by the increasing participation of women in the workforce, which raises concerns about the potential decline in the intensity of caregiving and educational roles in the family, particularly in terms of children’s religiosity, character, and academic achievement. The study employs a qualitative approach with a case study design, involving career women who are married and have school-age children; data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, then analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, with data validity ensured through triangulation. The findings indicate that: (1) career women continue to perform educational roles by instilling religious values, cultivating noble character, accompanying children’s academic learning, and supporting their interests and talents; (2) the dominant parenting pattern is democratic/authoritative, combining control, warmth, and open communication; (3) parenting is supported by disciplined time management and involvement of other family members without reducing mothers’ direct responsibility; and (4) key factors in children’s educational success are intensive communication and the quality of time parents spend with their children, even when quantitative time is limited. These findings affirm that the role of career women does not weaken, but can instead strengthen, children’s educational success when accompanied by well-planned, religiously grounded, and communicative parenting strategies.
