COMPARATIVE STUDY OF MORAL DEVELOPMENT OF EARLY CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENT CHILDREN FROM LAWRENCA KOHLBERG'S THEORY PERSPECTIVE (WAHID HASYIM SDI AND DARUR ROJA BLITAR INTEGRATED SMA)

This study aims at discussing the comparison of moral development between early childhood and adolescents from the perspective of Kohlberg’s theory. This type of research is a field research (field research) whose information is obtained from research work activities. The research applied is a field research that obtains data and information based on employment activities. The object of this research is SDI Wahid Hasyim and SMA Terpadu Darur Roja Blitar to get concrete data on moral development. The results of this study indicate that the comparison of moral development between early childhood moral and adolescents based on Kohlberg’s theory shows that in early childhood moral development is still the lowest stage, namely pre-conventional, while adolescents have entered the middle stage, namely the conventional stage. Kohlberg’s theory states that there are three levels of moral development and at each level has two stages, influenced by the environment because children find moral standards come from the family and the surrounding environment. The stage of moral development in young children is influenced by parents who have the most important role. Sustainability of moral development through several process, namely identification, direct education and trial and error
