Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) plays a fundamental role in shaping a generation that is not only intellectually intelligent but also morally superior. Amidst the challenges of an era marked by moral crisis, value degradation, and the powerful influence of globalization, PAI serves as a key pillar in instilling Islamic values such as honesty, responsibility, tolerance, and integrity. This article discusses how PAI can be effectively integrated into both formal and non-formal educational environments to produce students with noble character. Using a qualitative descriptive approach and literature review, this article examines the role of the curriculum, teachers, and an Islamic learning environment as essential elements in the process of moral formation. The results demonstrate that PAI, implemented comprehensively and contextually, can provide a strong foundation for producing a generation that is not only knowledgeable but also possesses high morals. Therefore, strengthening religious education is a strategic necessity in building a civilization rooted in noble values.
