PERGESERAN IDEOLOGI POLITIK ISLAM DI INDONESIA
Abstract
As a way of looking at the world, ideology must at certain times collide with the fact of its inability to understand and direct reality. When that happens, it could be that ideology then revises itself to be compatible with empirical facts, although some ideologies don't do that. But there are some ideologies that are later abandoned by their followers. Dissatisfaction with the failure of ideology in understanding and directing reality is the main factor in the ideological shift. How did this shift in political ideology occur? What are the considerations for individuals and groups to switch to other ideologies? And what is the relevance of this study for shifts in Islamic political ideology in Indonesia? Some of these questions will be parsed in the following review articles
